JACK LEE FONG FAMILY LUNG HEALTH CHALLENGE
Jack Lee Fong served on the Chinese Hospital board of trustees for thirteen years. In 2022, Chinese Hospital announced a $250,000 Matching Gift Challenge by Jack Lee Fong. This initiative has a profound personal significance for the family as his daughter-in-law, Joan Chen Fong, passed away at 59 after battling lung cancer. This Challenge funds lung cancer awareness and early detection programs in our community. Early detection is the key to better treatment outcomes for lung cancer.
