Diabetes Care

Diabetes is a problem that causes blood sugar levels to rise higher than normal. There are different types of diabetes—type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes. If you have diabetes, your body either does not make insulin, does not use insulin well, or both.

Whether you have type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes, Chinese Hospital Diabetes Center is here to help you take charge and manage it. Our bilingual diabetes care team is made-up of endocrinologists, nurse practitioners, registered dietitians, licensed psychological therapists, and certified diabetes educators to provide a comprehensive and personalized approach to diabetes care with a focus on prevention, education, and management.

Our goal is to improve health outcomes through increased participation and active engagement of patients in their health care.
